Palestine discussion forum blocked for two days in Gaza and West Bank

The Palestine discussion forum returned to operate normally in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on Tuesday evening after it was blocked for two days by the PA telecommunication company in Ramallah.

In a statement, the forum reported it received on Monday morning complaints about the inaccessibility of its website in Gaza and the West Bank, adding that it found out, after conducting a search and multiple contacts that the PA telecom company blocked it.

The forum affirmed that this was the third time its website was blocked by the company, noting that the company always says that the blocks happen for unknown reasons and promises to swiftly solve the problem.

It expressed belief that the inability of some saboteurs to penetrate its website prompted them to resort to the help of employees in the telecom company, saying that those saboteurs exploit the company for cheap goals after their failure to argue their opponents.

The forum stressed that such practices could deprive the company of the trust of Palestinian citizens as a result of its acceptance to be abused by security and political parties that are known for their collaboration with the Israeli occupation.
