Despite the Mansoura Criminal Court ruling of acquitting three Muslim Brotherhood detainees, the three detainees were moved to Wadi Natroun prison.
The security forces sent the deteinees who were acquitted on Tuesday to Wadi Natroun

Mansoura Criminal Court- third district- upheld on Tuesday the appeal lodged by the lawyer of the three Muslim Brotherhood detainees from Mansoura, against the 15-day provisional detention issued by the Higher State Security Prosecution in Cairo on March 13, 2007.

The detainees who should be acquitted according to the court ruling are:
-Dr. Mohamed Abdul Rahman, a cardiac diseases consultant at Shirbin Public Hospital,
-Dr. Hamed Mansour, a specialist of Dermal Diseases at Mansoura Public Hospital
-Eng. Mohamed Zakariya, the head of the Auto Department in Al-Huda Wal-Nur Islamic schools.
in Mansoura.

The state security forces detained the three on Tuesday Jan., 7, 2007, the fourth day of the Adha feast as part of a crackdown that included several governorates, Gharbiya, Aharqiya and Dakahlia.

For his part, Ahmed Yunus, the lawyer of the detainees said that the decision of sending the detainees to Wadi Natroun prison in spite of the Criminal Court ruling of releasing confirms the Interior Ministry’s policy of rejecting and defying the court rulings .

Yunus added in a statement to Ikhwanweb that this decision reflects the suffering that these detainees are facing; they are detained on groundless charges and the court rulings aren’t respected or implemented .
