The member of the Muslim Brotherhood Parliamentary bloc and memer of the Industries and power Committee in the Parliament Eng. Sabri Khalaf-Allah refused the ruling party’s exploitation of petrol companies and its workers in promoting for the ruling party and its leaders.

In a press statement he stressed that he feels sorry about petrol companies which became corrupted as the leaders of the ruling party recruit their relatives and friends as if it is a monopoly and ordinary citizens are not allowed in it.

The Egyptian Campaign to Boycott Gas Companies has launched attacks on the petroleum sector and accused it of wasting the wealth of Egypt and spending it on the ruling party and Gamal Mubarak as was published on their facebook group.

The campaign revealed that workers in the petroleum sector were gathered to attend the Ramadan’s final football tournament under the sponsorship of the Minister of Petroleum. The tournament was attended by leaders of the ruling party, in particularly Gamal Mubarak, Head of the NDP’s policies Committee.

In the emails of the campaign it affirmed that there will be meals worth 25pounds for each person from the budget of the petrol companies distributed to the attendees as well as 50 pounds for each person from the budget of the NDP.

Hiring the buses which takes workers to the stadium from one of the companies only costs 1500 pound. The campaigned also asked how much would it cost to take the other hundreds of workers and who pays for it?

The emails were concluded denouncing these actions as was written “not only export gas for quarter its real value, but also wasting the fortunes of Egypt and spending it on the NDP and Gamal Mubarak!!”

It is note worthy that the Egyptian Campaign for Boycotting Gas Companies, after it revealed the details if the gas export contract with less values than the global rates and production costs, demanded the boycott of Egyptian gas companies and called for abstaining from paying gas bills under the motto of “we won’t pay bills as long as exporting continues”
