All out electronic warfare broke out between Egyptian and Algerian hackers after allegations that Egyptian hackers launched a cyber attack on the Algerian newspaper "Eshorouk," who showed full support for their football team Desert Warriors.

The cyber attacks triggered violent responses by the Algerian hackers, who not only penetrated the Egyptian Al Ahram website, but also the websites belonging to the Egyptian Ministry and Presidency. The Algerian hacker who goes by the name "Kader11000" left a message in an attempt to intimidate Egyptian hackers, claiming that he was able to get into any website with his genius.

Reasons for this electronic warfare are juvenile and lack all sense of responsibility as a number of immature hackers from both Egypt and Algeria vent their childish anger with the winning or losing of football teams and the support of newspapers for the winners. Hackers touched off on open warfare through the internet in attempts to have the Algerian team disqualified from the entering the Fifa in 2010 for the third consecutive year.

The penetration was a message to Egyptians that the Algerians wanted to bring across their message that they were indestructible in both football and website hacking.

All in all it seems that both sides have failed to remember that sport is meant for leisure as is the internet however they have succeeded to prove that they are both sore losers who don't understand the concept that the true winner is the one who knows how to be a good loser.
