Two Palestinians including a child were injured in the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violent quelling of a peaceful anti wall march in Nilin village, Ramallah district, on Friday.

Member of the popular anti wall committee Salah Al-Khawaja said that the child Mutasem Salah was hit with a rubber-coated bullet while another youth was bruised when the IOF soldiers beat him up for trying to help another man detained by those soldiers.

Tens of Nilin villagers and foreign peace activists were treated for breathing problems after the IOF troops fired tear gas canisters at the march.

The demonstrators walked in the village streets while hoisting Palestinian flags and chanting anti occupation slogans.

They called for national unity, shunning internal differences, ending arrest campaigns and lifting the siege on Gaza in addition to halting the demolition of Jerusalemite homes.

When they approached the wall the IOF soldiers closed its gate with barbed wire and fired gas canisters and rubber bullets at the marchers.
