Escalating Security assaults on Cairo University’s students

Egyptian Security Forces attacked six University students Thursday, while gathering in front of Cairo University to start a massive march in solidarity with al-Aqsa mosque. The march was organized to condemn the Israeli’s inaugurating of “Al-Kharab” synagogue near al-Aqsa and the Israeli’s continued arrests of dozens of innocent Palestinians.

Security forces used electric batons against the assembled students resulting in serious injury to six. Officials prevented any media coverage of the incident and banned the filming of the massive march which included participation from four of Cairo’s largest universities.
