Khudari: 60 percent of Gaza children suffer malnutrition and anemia

In a speech at the opening ceremony of the 10th Palestine festival for childhood and development, Khudari called on all institutions concerned with children and education to help the Gazan children through establishing projects that develop their abilities and improve their lives.

The lawmaker hailed the steadfastness of Gaza’s children and their determination to survive and face the every day difficulties and crises they experience.

He affirmed that the last Israeli war increased their suffering, where hundreds of them were killed, wounded or disabled, pointing at the same time to the suffering of dozens of Palestinian children in Israeli jails.

Shifting to another issue, Khudari said that the popular committee against the siege intends to organize a series of events in conjunction with the uprising of ships which was renewed by international parties.

In a press release received by the Palestinian information center (PIC), Khudari added that the committee will send about 100 boats in mid April to welcome the new aid convoy that will arrive around that date in Gaza and to emphasize the right of Gaza people to safe water passage connecting them with the outer world.
