The group's next meeting in their campaign for unity was scheduled to take place with members of the National Front Party on Tuesday April 13. However Dr. Mohamed Morsy the group's media spokesmen and Executive Bureau member was notified by the National Front Party that they are obliged to postpone the meeting indefinitely

In a statement Morsy explained to "Ikhwanweb" that the MB's political reform agenda is concentrating on the call for decent elections free from rigging and fraud. "Transparency and integrity are necessary hence the call for judiciary supervision". The group also demands the annulling of the 'emergency law' which has continued in Egypt for over 30 years targeting the group by detaining them and leveling them with hosts of groundless accusations

Concerning the postponement of the meeting he asserted that the MB will continue with their agenda and welcome any opposition party who wish to join their call for political reform. Morsy ascertained that "The MB have and always will follow the principle of extended hands and cooperation for the wellbeing of Egypt and its citizens
