Jewish settlers attack farmers in the village of Kasra

NABLUS, — Jewish settlers from the Majdolim settlement, which is built on land confiscated from the village of Kasra to the south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, on Friday morning attacked villagers tending their fields, according to local sources.

Villagers said that around 200 settlers attacked them at an early hour while they were cultivating their land, verbally abused them and forced them to leave their fields under threat of using fire arms.

The villagers further explained that all this took place under the full sight and IOF troops who ringed the area to protect the settlers allowing them to carry on with their vandalism.

The village is living a state of tension and anticipation as the villagers fear that today’s attack is a prelude to confiscation of their land by the settlers.
