The shocking pre-dawn massacre against the Freedom flotilla has been slammed and met by contempt world-wide. The United Nations stressed  it is extremely distressed  at the loss of life during the Israeli military pre-dawn raid on a flotilla of six ships carrying aid for the Palestinian territory of Gaza . It called on Israel to end the attacks against innocent civilians endangering  their  lives.

 

 Bill Burton spokesmen for the White house, asserted that the US deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries sustained adding that they are presently investigating the situation surrounding this tragedy.

 

The British Foreign Office confirmed that it demanded clarification into the incident which resulted in 10 deaths and dozens of injuries.

 

The Swedish, Turkish, Greek and Spanish, Foreign Ministries have summoned their ambassadors according to sources postponing any meetings scheduled till after investigations

 

Tony Blair, former British Prime Minister stressed his deep chagrin and concern adding that there must be different methods to assist the Palestinians without attacks on the activists.

 

Protests are scheduled to take place outside Israeli embassies worldwide, and in Egypt the political opposition including the popular Muslim Brotherhood has rallied outside the foreign Minister's office. Deputy Chairman Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat, Saad Husseiny and media spokesman Dr. Essam El Erian participated in the rally Protests are peaceful but are kept at bay by security forces wielding batons.

 

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, the Pakistani government  and the Palestinian government have all voiced their contempt criticising the raid calling on the international community  to take action in order to stop this continuous violation of human rights, which is putting the international peace at risk reflecting Israel 's disrespect for the lives of innocent civilians, and the  international law
