The Committee failed to reveal the monitoring reports prepared by the NGOs which confirmed the occurrence of frauds and violations in the process

Intisar Naseem Head of the committee's sole comment was ' they can say whatever they want"

The committee's closing conference was chaotic as Naseem prevented independent journalists from asking questions and in more than one occasion he refused providing any statements to Ikhwanweb, despite giving the governmental Egyptian channel’s reporter a 20 minutes interview. His actions were obviously demonstrating extreme bias against political opposition

Naseem was in denial as he claimed that the committee had taken 'the constitutional and legal measures to ensure the integrity of elections, pointing out that the committee had played its role. He added that the committee had received all the complaints filed on the elections day referring it to the general committees in the respective governorates which consequently were meant to investigate them

He insisted however to announce  the results of the constituencies  of Kafr el Sheikh, South Cairo, Helwan, Sharqiya and Alexandria despite the fact that MB candidates obtained verdicts temporarily annulling the announcements

Councilor Mohammed Musy, from the committee, added that the committee would not be threatened stressing that whoever had a complaint should submit it to the committee for investigation
