MB leader Ali Abdul Fattah and five others released

State Security in Alexandria released six Muslim Brotherhood members including MB leader Ali Abdul Fattah after a second release order was issued.  The group was apprehended early last week after they participated in collecting signatures on the petitioned demand calling for change.

The campaign launched by the MB chairman Dr. Mohamed Badie include 7 demands for change and was supported by most political opposition factions to pressure the authorities into relaxing the restrictions prior to parliamentary and presidential elections.

The political detainees headed home after spending two hours in police headquarters after they were transported from the detention centre.
