Al Shater, 16 Others to Appear Before Prosecution Wednesday

Khayrat Al Shater, the deputy chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood other 16 leaders in the group will appear on Wednesday in front of the Nasr City-Based state security prosecution .


This is the third time in which Al Shater appears before the prosecution over the so-called Case of Al-Azhar Students.


Eng. Al Shater was arrested along with 15 MB leaders and 140 students from Al-Azhar University students on Thursday Dec., 14, 2006, after Al-Azhar students performed a sportive parade.


It is worth mentioning that Eng. Khairat Al Shater is suffering from several chronic diseases and his daughter Zahraa Al Shater has called for immediately releasing him due to his deteriorating health.
