The Algerian MP Abdul Magid Al Manasera was elected  a speaker for the forum, and Dr. Nasser Al Sana from Kuwait, a second deputy speaker.

The Egyptian ambassador to Indonesia received the MB bloc’s delegation in his residence in Jakarta, which also received a warm welcome from ambassadors of Arab countries to Indonesia who greatly appreciated the Muslim Brotherhood MPs of the Egyptian parliament.

The IFIP is considered a nucleus for an Islamic States Parliament like the Arab parliament, the European Parliament and the African parliament. Several international organizations and bodies participated in the conference as observers.
