With the run-up to the parliamentary polls, reports of monitoring have been collected by the Egyptian Association for Supporting Democratic Development.

The reports highlight widespread violations of laws against campaigning before the official advertising period. Ministers were reported to have exploited their positions for their own personal benefit and campaigns.

The Egyptian Association for Community Participation Enhancement has also published a number of pre-election monitoring reports recording violations, infringements and other relevant matters.
