The Muslim Brotherhood's media spokesman and executive member, Dr Mohamed Morsy, stressed that he rejected US interference in Egypt's  affairs including the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on November 28, 2010.

In a statement to the satellite channels Al-Jazeera and BBC,  Morsy highlighted that although the MB refused any interference from the US administration, it welcomed supervision by civil society organizations since the United Nations is governed by civil organizations which have participated in the monitoring of over 150 countries. He maintained that Egypt is entitled to have their parliamentary elections monitored since it is a member of the United Nations.

Morsy maintained that Egypt is well-prepared with non-governmental organizations to impartially oversee the polls.
