A Palestinian farmer was wounded on Sunday when Israeli army ordnance exploded near him in his farm east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.

 KHAN YOUNIS, -- A Palestinian farmer was wounded on Sunday when Israeli army ordnance exploded near him in his farm east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.

Adham Abu Salmiya, the coordinator of medical services in the Strip, told the PIC that an ambulance crew carried the 30-year-old farmer to hospital in Abasan Al-Kabira.

He added that the farmer was hit with shrapnel in his face.
