The National Council for Human Rights called for the immediate released of Eng. Khairat Al-Shater, Deputy Chairman of Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan Malek and other detainees who were tried before special courts during the ousted Mubarak's era.
The report stressed that during the parliamentary elections in 2010 many violations took place since accepting nomination where dozens of candidates were prevented from applying for candidacy, especially those from the MB. Hundreds of MB supporters and other independent candidates were also arrested during the electoral period. |
