Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Shura Council member Mohamed Gamal Heshmat claimed surprised at the timing of the national dialogue, launched by Deputy Prime Minster Yehia al-Gamal, at the headquarters of the Egyptian government.

In an exclusive statement to "Ikhwanweb", Heshmat said: "It was possible to accept a national dialogue for open discussion on Egypt's future before the constitutional announcement and the law of parties, but this raises significant criticism, especially if we placed reconciliation with symbols of Mubarak's ousted regime on the negotiating table.

"There is no future for the national dialogue as long as it is unconstructive and not well-planned," he said, noting that the idea of ??making reconciliation with symbols of the former regime, provoking a huge controversy that was unacceptable unless major figures of the former regime and leaders of the former ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) who are corrupt and remain in their positions or enjoy the freedom to plot, conspire and level blows at the revolution and its achievements at many levels be tried.

He also maintained that the dialogue was completely rejected by the coalition of the revolution because it is unfair, prepared in advance, and reminds us of Omar Suleiman's dodgy dialogue.

Heshmat urged organizers of the dialogue to review its meetings and listen carefully to the people's demands, indicating that the revolution will continue to achieve its goal of a democratic state that respects the rule of law.
