Activists are currently in the process of preparing a blacklist of officers from the dismantled State Security apparatus who were known to be involved in torturing detainees.

According to Gamal Eid, head of the Arab Network for Human Rights Information, a website is currently being formed to document crimes of torture committed against the Egyptian citizens. Personal profiles of the accused officers and their alleged crimes will be included on the website.

The lists will be prepared in order to facilitate the investigations and expected trials
