Monastery in Upper Egypt Extends Hands to FJP
A delegation from the Upper Egypt’s Monastery paid the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party a visit to its headquarters in Beni Suef to congratulate the party on its establishment.

A delegation from the Upper Egypt’s Monastery paid the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party a visit to its headquarters in Beni Suef to congratulate the party on its establishment.

Presenting Dr. Hamdy Zahran FJP leader in Beni Suef with a gift, Father Yusuf Anwar wished the party well and confirmed that there would be many more visits and further discussions between the two groups. He stressed that the Christian community in Upper Egypt looked forward to mature and amicable cooperation between both factions.

The FJP accepted from the delegation which also included Father Asitavnos and Father Sami Jadallah an invitation to attend a seminar to be held on Saturday by its Cultural Committee at the Monastery.
