Anglican Church to Discuss Political Platform with FJP

Anglican Church to Discuss Political Platform with FJP
In a bid to encourage dialogue, cooperation and integration with the whole  community, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and its Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), have agreed to join a meeting with the Anglican Church in Nasr City to bridge the gap and coordinate youth projects and activities following the fall of Mubarak.

At an Iftar hosted by the Church on Wednesday, Father George asked to meet with the group after Ramadan and discuss the FJP’s proposed political agenda with the Church’s members.

Prior to the revolution the regime had worked hard on stemming any projects between the MB and the church.

MB and FJP Guests who attended the Iftar included Mohamed Gouda, Essam Mokhtar, Dr. Adel Aref, and Sayed Atef Ali Ahmed were welcomed warmly by members from the Church demonstrating a spirit of unity.
