Copts Join MB and FJP in Eid Celebrations

Copts in Deshna village in Qina, Upper Egypt, joined 200 Muslim Brotherhood (MB), members and citizens Saturday as they walked around the town greeting them and wishing them well for the Islamic Celebrations of ‘Eid Adha’.

Dressed in suits, the MB youth who carried the motto ‘For the good of Egypt’, were welcomed warmly by the people including Copts.

Tarek Ali Al-Sheeshy from the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), stated: "The Copts participation with the FJP and MB is a clear indication that the party is for all the Egyptians regardless of religion". He added, "It is warming to see Copts and MB meeting amicably and marching in unison side by side around the town".
