Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, Secretary General of the Muslim Brotherhood, stated that what happened Wednesday night in Al-Ahly / Al-Masry football match was nothing less than a massacre for which the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) and the Ministry of Interior bear the ultimate responsibility.

Dr. Hussein told Ikhwanweb that everyone agrees that there is a total security breakdown in the whole country, and perhaps even complicity of certain characters determined to bring the country down into chaos and complete disorder.

Dr. Hussein added that SCAF’s failure to hold accountable those who committed crimes against the Egyptians and Egypt in the past months does encourage recurrence of such massacres.
