Dr. Morsi Meets with India's Ambassador
FJP Chairman has stated that candidates for the upcoming presidential elections stand on equal footing as far as the party is concerned.

 Dr. Mohamed Morsi, Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said: "The party will announce the presidential hopeful it will endorse and support once registration of the candidates is completed".

During his meeting, on Monday, with India's Ambassador to Cairo Mr. R. Swaminathan – at the party's headquarters in Manyal Alrodah – Dr. Morsi stressed that, "Despite the numerous political and security challenges Egypt faces during the current transitional phase, there is a huge potential for development and stability".

The FJP Chairman added, "It is imperative, during this crucial phase, that there be coordination and consensus amongst Egypt's political spectrum, in order for this desired development as well as the goals and demands of the January 25 revolution be accomplished".

The High Judicial Elections Commission (HJEC) has declared March 10 as the start date for registration for the presidential elections candidates.
