Electoral Commission Announces Electoral Symbols of Presidential Candidates
Egypt’s presidential aspirants have just been handed their official electoral symbols in preparation for elections for Egypt's highest office to be held on 23/24 May, with runoffs slated for 16/17 June if no candidate secures 50% of the vote.

The Supreme Presidential Electoral Commission (SPEC) officially announced that Dr. Mohamed Morsi’s electoral symbol will be the ‘scales’, adding that the allocation of symbols was completed in accordance with the Constitutional Declaration and relevant presidential elections laws and amendments.

Other candidates for the presidency chose various symbols such as the ‘sun’, ‘horse’, ‘Umbrella’, and so on.

Dr. Morsi’s election slogan is "Renaissance - the will of the people". He has already made ??a number of public conferences attended by hundreds of thousands of supporters in a number of Egyptian provinces.
