Muslim Brotherhood’s presidential contender Dr. Morsi heads to his home town Zagazig to cast his ballot in Egypt’s first post-Mubarak elections for the country’s top job.

Dr. Mohamed Morsi will cast his vote, in Zagazig, in a polling station at Sadat Preparatory School for Boys, at eleven am, on Wednesday – May 23, 2012.


He will be greeted by a number of Sharqiya province MPs for the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) and the party’s campaign team in Sharqiya. He will make press statements to the media, as he comes out from the polling station.

The presidential candidate will follow the election process from his campaign’s central headquarters and in some voting locations he will be visiting.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mohamed Morsi’s presidential election campaign, Tuesday night, inaugurated its main media and information center to follow up and cover the presidential elections.

The center has been outfitted with administrative and technical resources to receive reporters of newspapers, news agencies, radio and TV stations, and to facilitate their work.

The information center offers three press briefings every day, starting at ten in the morning, with the second at two in the afternoon, and the third at six o’clock in the evening.

The center also holds a press conference at eight in the evening. This will take place on all election days.
