Muslim Brotherhood Leader Ghozlan’s Statement on SMS Hoax
Muslim Brotherhood Leader Ghozlan’s Statement on SMS Hoax
A dangerous and totally unfounded SMS message is being transmitted and circulated around in Egypt warning of a plot by the Muslim Brotherhood to blow up an important church.
Thursday, December 6,2012 11:57

SMS messages are being sent from an unknown source warning that the Muslim Brotherhood is planning to blow up a main church, to divert attention away from the current crisis.

These messages are completely baseless. The Muslim Brotherhood is most determined to achieve and maintain national unity, social peace and national security. It regards churches as inviolable places of worship. Moreover, taking lives and shedding blood are some of the most abhorrent sins in Islam.

These SMS messages show that those who send them have no qualms using any means even if means breaking national unity and inciting sectarian strife, which the Muslim Brotherhood and all honest patriotic citizens condemn.
