Ghozlan: Talk of Relations between Muslim Brotherhood and Iran Sheer Fantasy, Outright Lies
It seems there is no end to the series of crises dark forces throw in the path of Egypt’s revolution and Egyptians trying to complete ongoing democratic transformation – the latest episode being a preposterous claim of clandestine relationships between the Brotherhood and Iran.
Tuesday, January 8,2013 19:47

Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, a Muslim Brotherhood media spokesman, denied reports about relations between the Brotherhood and Iran to strengthen its hold on power.

Some newspapers and news websites quoted a certain British newspaper alleging that the Brotherhood sought clandestine support from Iran to strengthen the group’s hold on power, and that the leaders of the group met the Iranian intelligence chief at the beginning of this year.

In a press statement, Dr. Ghozlan said: "This is pure fiction - a totally unfounded false claim."
