In a statement to Ikhwanweb, Dr. Gamal Heshmat, member of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP)’s National Committee, lawmaker and member of the parliamentary Human Rights Committee of the Shura Council, said: "The continued massacres against the Syrian people have become unbearable, intolerable. This tragic situation necessitates serious Arab, Muslim and international action to stop the brutal crimes, by providing more crucial support to the armed opposition at home and abroad, and not only refugees.

"Simply denouncing the violence every day does nothing to deter or prevent the criminal regime in Syria from committing even more abhorrent crimes that violate the most basic human rights including grizzly arson and slaughter."

Dr. Heshmat assured that the Syrian Revolution will triumph despite shameful Arab and international inaction, and that Syrian blood will not be shed in vain.

Syrian activists said more than 28 additional bodies have been  found in a town in rural Damascus, including 3 women and 3 children inside one of the hospitals, in addition to dozens of burned bodies that have not been counted as yet.

Witnesses from inside the town said that Assad's forces liquidated all the wounded who were in the town, slaughtering and burning all to death, estimating the number of those between 300 to 400 people.

Notably, the Syrian National Coalition, representing the bulk of the opposition – which includes Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood, issued a statement saying: "With the passage of minutes and hours new crimes unfold, and hundreds more victims fall. According to news from besieged areas, regime gangs are committing even more grizzly massacres against civilians.

"Describing international silence towards these crimes as shameful is not helping the victims and their families. In fact, nothing is helping Syrians except the bravery of their brothers and their Free Army."
