President Morsi Legal Team Concludes First Visit, Holds Press Conference Wednesday
President Morsi legal team spokesman Mohamed Damati affirms visit aims to coordinate efforts before next court session January 8, adding that visit details will be announced during a press conference in Cairo Wednesday, November 13.

The legal team for those accused in Itehadia Presidential Palace clashes lawsuit concluded their first meeting with President Mohamed Morsi in Burg Al-Arab prison (west of Cairo) Tuesday.

The visit, the first by the legal team, lasted two hours and a half. It began at 11:30AM and ended 2:00PM.

The meeting was attended by Mohamed Salim Al-Awa, head of the legal team; Mohamed Damati, media spokesman for the legal team; Mohamed Tosson and Osama Al-Hilou, members of the legal team; and Osama Morsi, the President’s son, in his capacity as a lawyer and a member of the legal team.

The legal team’s spokesman confirmed that President Morsi stands steadfast and firm, and that his spirits are high, noting that details of the visit will be announced at a news conference Wednesday, November 13th.

For his part, Osama, President Mohamed Morsi’s son, revealed that the President will issue a statement to the Egyptian people and the whole nation, but did not mention any details of that statement’s content. Osama pointed that this was agreed during their meeting Tuesday.
