Anti-Coup National Alliance Denounces Mansoura Bombing

Anti-Coup National Alliance Denounces Mansoura Bombing

The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance in Dakahlia condemns the criminal bombing incident which targeted innocent citizens of Egypt and undermined the country’s security.

The Alliance asserts that the perpetrators of this incident are traitors and criminals whose purpose is to sow discord and strife and to spill the blood of Egyptians.

The Alliance also warns this may well be the beginning of implementation of the scheme revealed recently by a certain businessman, who threatened to use violence. We reiterate that peaceful protest is the Alliance’s choice in its defense of democracy, constitutional legitimacy and the free will of the Egyptian people.

The Alliance is baffled by pro-military media rushing, before any investigations got underway, to blame the incident on the Muslim Brotherhood, although there are more than 60 Brotherhood detainees inside the affected Dakahlia Security Directorate building, in addition to the three female students detained there for more than two months now.

The Alliance offers its most sincere condolences to the families of those who died in this tragic incident and prays for a speedy recovery for the injured. It further emphasizes that these criminal operations are completely and strongly condemned. It appeals to security forces to apprehend the perpetrators without delay and announce the truth behind such terrorist operations.

The Alliance urges citizens in Dakahlia and all Egypt to unite and close ranks in the face of this crime, which aims to destabilize the homeland.

The Alliance stresses the sanctity of all Egyptian blood, and reaffirms that the Egyptian Revolution is a peaceful one.
