Muslim Brotherhood Condemns Attack on Military Bus in Cairo
The Muslim Brotherhood strongly condemns the attack on a military bus in Cairo Thursday that killed First Sergeant Yousri Hassan and injured three other officers.
Thursday, March 13,2014 13:52

The Muslim Brotherhood offers its deepest condolences to the family of the martyred soldier, and wishes full recovery for the injured officers .

The targeting of Egyptian army soldiers and civilians is a heinous crime that requires a thorough and transparent investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice without delay. Instead, the military regime always rushes, for purely political reasons, to implicate the Muslim Brotherhood, without a shred of an evidence and before any investigation is launched, thus failing to indeed investigate previous attacks or bring real perpetrators to justice and prevent even more attacks.

We hold the ruling military regime fully responsible for the loss of innocent Egyptian lives, and for their failure to protect national security and uphold the rule of law.
