Freedom and Justice Party Condemns Cairo Bombing, Criticizes Junta Over Military Plane Crash

The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) holds the military coup leaders responsible for the crash of a military plane Sunday in Fayoum (100 kilometers southwest of Cairo), which killed 6 on the ground and wounded one member of the plane’s crew.

The FJP mourns the victims of the tragic incident, and stresses that the military coup commander, the murderer and terrorist Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi; his defense minister Sidqi Subhi; and members of the military council have smeared the honor of the Egyptian military with the blood of the Egyptian people – honorable and patriotic men, women and children.

The junta dragged the military into politics at the expense of the army’s combat efficiency. They altered the Egyptian Army doctrine for the benefit of foreign powers. They focused on securing their personal lives at the expense of soldiers’ and officers’ lives. The FJP demanded trials of these criminals for the crimes they committed against the homeland and the people.

The FJP also condemned the fabricated bombing incident Sunday in the Bulaq Abul-Ela district in downtown Cairo, and denounced the military coup leaders’ total disregard of Egyptian people’s lives, and their hopeless attempts to act out fake scenes of violence to serve their traitorous purposes at home and abroad.

In conclusion, the FJP exhorts all Egyptians to close ranks and unite in national and revolutionary peaceful defiance in order to save the country from the hands of these traitors and criminals.
