Journalists from the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt supported and participated in a protest called by the Egyptian Journalists' Syndicate at its headquarters in downtown Cairo today (Wednesday).

A number of journalists who are leaders and members of the Muslim Brotherhood face false charges, politicized verdicts and unjust sentences issued by coup-controlled courts, including Mohsen Radi, a member of the Journalists' Syndicate.

In this regard, Qutb Al-Arabi, a journalist and leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood (currently outside Egypt), welcomed the journalists' protest today, calling for solidarity with and active participation in it.
