FJP Leader Dardery Urges Continued Solidarity with Protesting Doctors, Suffering Egyptians

Dr Abdul-Mawgood Dardery, leading member of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) – the Muslim Brotherhood’s political wing, declared solidarity with Matareya (Cairo) doctors and all the martyrs, detainees and the oppressed in Egypt, whose rights have been violated, calling for continued support for doctors and all sectors of the society who have suffered the illegitimate coup regime’s brutal repression, arrogance and recklessness.

"The broad solidarity witnessed at the Medical Association today (Saturday) is a clear evidence that coup apparatuses’ attacks on citizens have become systematic, and do not target only those who oppose or reject the illegitimate coup regime.

"This is our clear position. It by no means politicizes the issue. It simply shows our commitment to moral principles which unite the opponents of the coup that destroyed everything in Egypt."
