A Cairo court on September 6,2006, ordered the release of 16 Muslim Brotherhood leaders who were detained in August while visiting Professor Dr. Raafat Howait in his home in Menufeya governorate, north of Cairo.

A Cairo court on September 6,2006, ordered the release of 16 Muslim Brotherhood leaders who were detained in August while visiting Professor Dr. Raafat Howait in his home in Menufeya governorate, north of Cairo.

The court rejected the decision issued by the Prosecution two days ago extending the detention of the professor and his 16 guests- turned detainees for another 15 days.
