Israeli hospitals have threatened to stop treating a four-year-old Palestinian girl, who was seriously wounded in an IOF raid on the Gaza Strip in which her mother, sister and grandmother were killed, at the pretext of lack of funds to pay the treatment fees.

Family members beseeched legal institutions to immediately intervene to prevent the return of Maria Aman and her uncle Nahed Aman to the Gaza Strip without completing treatment.

They also asked for pressuring the Israeli government to shoulder the full responsibility for treating them in Israeli hospitals.

An Israeli parliament member has denounced the hospital threats in a message to Israeli war minister Amir Peretz.

He affirmed that Peretz and his government should assume full responsibility for the treatment of the child and her uncle since the his army had declared responsibility for the raid that targeted Ahmed Al-Dahdouh, one of the commanders of the Islamic Jihad Movement’s armed wing, and that led to the murder of the three civilians and the serious injury of others including the girl and her uncle.

The MP recalled that the girl was lying motionless in a Tel Aviv hospital and was awaiting treatment hopefully to restore ability to move.
