An Open Letter to Mr. Jack Straw

A reminder that Israel’s asassination policy goes way back to Count Bernadotte and Lord Moyne for which they received half of Palestine as a reward.

Dear Mr. Straw:

Israel sets a precedent in carrying out assassinations on the grounds of fighting terrorism, randomly killing anyone, even though it is the brutal occupier and oppressor, and then wants to imprison or kill those who do the same, except let’s remember that Ze’evi’s racist political platform was the transfer of Arabs. Grounds for assassination are far more impressive under those circumstances where a political figure is advocating your ethnic cleansing, and where you and your family are the occupied and oppressed, although here, all these prisoners have never been formally charged with anything and have been illegally detained in violation of international law.
.
A reminder that Israel’s asassination policy goes way back to Count Bernadotte and Lord Moyne for which they received half of Palestine as a reward.

Your government has already been embarassed by Zionist terrorist groups in 1947 who stormed the Akko prison dressed as British military personnel, using explosives in order to free members of its underground whom they described as “freedom fighters, ” although I don’t recall any Jewish inhabitants living in Palestine at that time, mostly immigrants from European countries, who suffered under the British occupation as did the Palestinian Arab inhabitants..  Now, you can be embarassed again that they removed prisoners who were under your protection, albeit under different circumstances.

Since the Israeli papers are already reporting the surrender of Ahmad Sadaat and five other prisoners, who are supposed to be transferred to an Israeli prison at the time of this writing, I ask what does your government intend to do about this and your international obligations?
