Brotherhood’s Students Commemorate the World Student Day

Students of the Muslim Brotherhood call on the world students to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the World Student Day on February, 21st, under the motto of ’ the Student Day…Yes for Freedom, No for American Supremacy…No for Civilization Clash’.

In a statement obtained by Ikhwanweb, the students appealed to the world students to celebrate that day and to press for making it a day of freedom, refusing the American supremacy over the world, rejecting civilization clashes, and respecting religious symbols of different cultures. 
The following is the full exerpts of the statement;

A Stand on the World Student Day
The Statement of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Students

On Tuesday, February 21st, students of the Muslim Brotherhood will stage a stand followed by a press conference in Cairo University. With the participation of delegations of all Egyptian universities, we will celebrate the World Student Day at 12 p.m.

’Yes for Freedom…No for the American Supremacy…No for Civilization Clash’ will be the day’s motto. The commemoration of this day on which Egyptian students have sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country liberation indents to confirm that student movement is still alive and alert to defend Egypt along with the Arab and Islamic worlds. It is, in addition, designated to prove that university students are the pulse of the country which is the deriving force at the heart of the Arab nation. Students are ready to rush to defend Egypt, demand its eradication of corruption and injustice, press for reform, freedom, the release of security grab over universities, and a new student regulation that revives university activities.

The students of the Muslim Brotherhood call on the world students to mark this day to be a day of freedom, of rejecting the American supremacy over countries, of refusing civilization clashes and respecting things held scared by each culture.
