The Final Result of the MB’s Nominees in 2nd Round


 


 


In spite of violence, thuggery and fraud, which marred the second round of the Egyptian parliamentary election, the Moslem Brotherhood achieved gains. Thirteen nominees of  the Moslem Brotherhood win, according to official figures; 7 in Alexandria, two in Ismalia, two in el-Garbia, one in both el-Beharia and Qalubiya.

7-     Saber Abu el-Fotoh, Bab Sharq district, Alex


8-     Sabry Khalaf, in the first district, Isma’lia


9-     Hamdy Isma’il, in el-Tal el-Kbeer, Isma’lia


10-Abdul Wahab el-Deeb, in Abu el-Mater, el-Behaira governorate


10-Abdel Haleem Helal, in Samanod, el-Garbia governorate


11-Saad el-Husseiny, in Bander el-Mahala, el-Garbia


12- Muhammad el-Beltagy, in Shobra el-Khama, Qalubiya


 


On the other hand, 41 of the Moslem Brotherhood’s candidates will participate in the run-off poll on 26 Nov.

1-In Saft Torab constituency, the MB’s candidate, Yahia el-Mussir, 26662 votes, will vie for run-off poll against, Abdul Rahman el-Shhawy, an independent, 11.000 votes, while the NDP’s prominent candidate, Muhammad Maray, fell.

1-The MB’s nominee in Suez constituency, Saad Khalifa, will vie for reelection against three candidates; an independent, 5763 votes, the NDP candidate, 2181 votes, and al-Tagamoa Party’s nominee, 2833 votes.

3-Muhammad Heshmat, was deliberately fallen, in Damanhor, el-Behaira


4- Abdel Hameed Shokr in el-Dologat, el-Behaira


5-el-Said el-Dosoq in Barma, el-Garbia


 


 


However, the vote was marred by some contraventions:


 


1- Violence and thuggery in el-Behaira and Alex, for example


2- Negative impartiality of police that availed the National Democratic Party


3- Ballot-rigging such as what happened in Damanhor City.
