Asharqeyya: Four MB Detainees Released

Asharqeyya: Four MB Detainees Released

North Cairo Court released Friday four Muslim Brotherhood detainees in the Nile Delta governorate of Al-Sharqeyya after three months in jail, Ikhwanweb reporter said.

The detainees -Mohamed Ahmed Mostafa Abdul-Hamid, Ahmed Abdul Hamid, Mohamed Mohsen Mahdi, Mostafa  Abdul Aziz Al-Sayed- had been arrested nearly three months ago, and after their arrest, they were sent to Wadi Annatroun prison by a detention decision.

The detainees’ lawyer filed a grievance to the Interior Ministry to release them, which was accepted, and a session was set for them on July 14 and they were released.

On the other hand, the Interior Ministry objected to this release, thus another session was set for them on Friday before the North Cairo Court, which decided to release them.

This came during the detention and raid campaigns which the Egyptian security authorities have launched against Muslim Brotherhood members, and also against Islamic bookshops in which large number of its contents were confiscated.
