Aziz Sedqy, the ex-prime minister, and the Coordinator of the National Front for Change, addressed the gather on the occasion of collective breakfast hold by the Moslem Brotherhood.
In his speech, Sedqy said that Egyptians should appreciate the endeavors of the Moslem Brotherhood to revive the country and get it out of the current dark atmosphere.
Sedqy added that the dangerous situation of the country urged him to form the National Union for the Change, 7 months ago. We have to put an end to the corruption and totalitarianism. For example, the emergency law is in force since 25 years, under the pretext of security maintenance. But it cultivates all unfair practices, in fact.
He remarked that the Egyptian opposition is able, if unified, to achieve freedom. He indicated that only 23% of voters participate in the presidential election. In other words, 77% of voters abstain. If we can have only 30-40% of them, we will be able to attain our aims.
He, in addition, criticizes those who describe the Moslem Brotherhood as obstinate adding that they are very flexible. He pointed out that the National Front would not be national without the Moslem Brotherhood.
In the end, Sedqy urged the Egyptians to elect the candidates of the Front and of the Moslem Brotherhood in particular.
