OCCUPIED JERUSALEM– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have killed 1,500 Palestinians since the start of 2009 mostly in the 22-day war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli information center for human rights B’Tselem reported on Sunday. It added in a report on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its inception that the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians had resulted in the death of 8,900 people over the past two decades mostly Palestinians. The center said that the IOF troops killed 7,398 Palestinians including 1,537 minors and destroyed around 4,300 homes in the same period. It said that the war on Gaza alone killed 1,387 Palestinians, adding that the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are deprived of their basic human rights.
