Brotherhood Parliamentary Bloc Denounces Arresting 2 MPs

The Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc denounced the Egyptian regime”s suppressive measure of arresting two MB parliamentarians affiliated to the bloc while they were meeting some citizens to discuss some of their problems.
Dr. Hamdi Hassan, the media spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) parliamentary bloc, denounced the Egyptian regime”s suppressive measure of arresting two MB parliamentarians affiliated to the bloc.

The Egyptian forces raided the governorate of Monofiya and arrested Sabri Amer, MP for Birket El-Sab, and Rajab Abu Zeid, MP for Shibin Al Kawm, while they were meeting some citizens to discuss some of their problems.

Hassan considered, in a statement to Ikhwanweb, this escalation as the regime”s response to the high supervisory and legislative performance and huge services done by members of the parliamentary bloc, the biggest as it claims a fifth of the lower chamber seats, nationwide.

Hassan confirmed that the Brotherhood parliamentarians watched the government in all fields; this made the dictatorial regime harass their movements among people and arrested 19 office managers of some MPs; this unjust regime violated the constitution and arrested on Sunday two members of parliament while they were serving people !

Hassan pointed out that conditions in Egypt are moving from bad to worse, with a dictatorial regime that fights all sections of the society, the latest of which were the judges, in addition to enacting notorious laws which aren’t approved by legal traditions all over the world .

The MB media spokesman added: While some MPs affiliated to the ruling National Democratic Party quarrel over whores and spend most of their time in nightclubs, take cheques from the money of the nation while no one asked that what are you doing; while these actions happen, the dictatorial regime arrests the honorable MPs over groundless charges which the Brotherhood used to face and all people are used to hear.

Hassan confirmed that the bloc studies filing a lawsuit against parliament speaker, Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour who is currently visiting the Inter-Parliamentary Union to put and end to the continuous and unbearable aggressions against representatives of the people.
