Budhist-Muslim dialogue conference ends amiably

Minister for tourism Mr. Nawing Rigzin addressed the guests stating that “Religion is a code of conduct for the human beings to lead a peaceful life and therefore, every individuals should know the fundamental principles of religion to live and let live others in peace and harmony
He added that religion should be a strictly personal affair and it is up to mankind to be a good human following the teachings of the religion, respecting each other’s faith and lead a happy life.
The conference is expected to contribute in strengthening the Buddhist-Muslim relationship in particular and world peace in general.
Several international speakers attended the conference highlighting the significance of reciprocated respect strengthened by generous cooperation and genuine friendship they welcomed and appreciated the initiatives of Ven Sanghasena President of Mahabodhi Society & Vice President of World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth for holding this historic dialogue.
Sanghasena highlighted the main objectives stressing that the conferences are a part of on-going series of worldwide discussions and joint meetings aimed at bringing together influential representatives of the two religious traditions
