College students disciplined for distributing Test Preparation handouts!

College students disciplined for distributing Test Preparation handouts! Fourteen medical students affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood at Asyut University, have been disciplined for distributing test preparation handouts.

The fourteen students, all in their final year, were participating in a routine and highly popular service offered by medical students belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood to help their fellow students prepare for the semester exams.

Several other students were interrogated and threatened with disciplinary actions after posting signs and giving speeches at the school mosque encouraging other students to observe the first 10 days of the holly month Zul-Hejjah.

Another student was suspended for distributing a flyer condemning the university administration after preventing students sympathizing with the Muslim Brotherhood from running for the Students’ Body. In response to this ban, students have declared the formation of their own “Free Union” whose members are elected freely without any interference by the school administration.

In a similar case scenario, several students at the schools of Pharmacy, Veterinary and Law, have been either suspended or disciplined for their support of the “Free Union”. Surprisingly enough, students were usually asked to appear before the disciplinary boards a day before their finals!
