Comment from a Reader: Ikhwanweb’s indifference to the plight of Uighur Muslims
Assalamu alaikum,
I try to follow ikhwanweb on a regular base to keep me updated on the Egyptian politics and Islamic movement. I have to address my disappointment regarding your indifference to what happened in Eastern Turkistan. Aren”t they part of the ummah? Your site does not have any official condemnation of what happened. Besides, you did not cover the incidence at all. Isn”t our obligation to be concerned with the oppressed whether they are Muslims or not? Should not we take part on the side of justice even if it is against us and our family?
Best regards,
