Complaint to the Attorney General Accusing El-Baradei of Inciting Civil Disobedience

Magdy El-Kordi, co-ordinator of the Popular Support Coalition for Gamal Mubarak, submitted a complaint to the Attorney General, Councillor Abdel Megid Mahmoud, against Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei, founder of the National Association for Change (NAC), and Abdel Rahman Yousef El-Qaradawi, son of Sheikh Yousef El-Qaradawi, in which he accused them of inciting civil disobedience and public opinion.

El-Kordi explained in his complaint that since the end of Dr. El-Baradei’s term as president of the International Agency for Atomic Energy and his return to Egypt, he has been using a policy that would cause confusion and unrest in the country, as he founded the NAC which aims at causing disorder and instability in the country, as he put it.

He pointed out that El-Baradei called, during the recent period, for civil disobedience and boycotting the upcoming presidential elections. He accused Abdel Rahman El-Qaradawi of supporting him and promoting his ideas.
