Coptic Delegations From Church in Assuit Visit MB in Quseya
On the occasion of the Muslim feast Eid Al-Adha, a delegation from the Evangelical Church in Mier village, Mahraq Monestery and many Copts in Assuit city visited Mahmoud Helmy, member of the supreme committee in the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), candidate for the parliamentary elections and member of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), to congratulate the MB and FJP in Qusiya governorate.
Aymen, priest at the Evangelical Church, praised the role civil and political role of Mahmoud Helmy.
The delegation discussed the importance of uniting the political and social efforts of Muslims and Christians. They also discussed the history of the people of Qusiya in opposing the former National Party and working together on bringing it down.
Mahmoud Helmy stressed that Egypt has been a great model of revolutions in the Arab World where it proved that Muslims and Christians are one hand.
